This is an exciting time of year as we prepare for 2023-2024! Every year we work to make the transition as easy as possible. We will be visiting your student’s schools in February to help them select their courses for next year. We ask that you assist us by visiting the MVMS website and reviewing the course catalog. To access the information click the link below.
If your student is absent on that day, you will need the following information to assist them at home. You will need to complete two tasks in order to be ready for middle school: 1) Course Selection in PowerSchool and 2) Pre-Enrollment in April.
Using PowerSchool, you will help your student complete the online course selection process. Everything you need is on our website including course descriptions. Click the link below to begin.
Students are automatically enrolled in the classes listed below:
Core classes:
General Math
Language Arts
History
Science
Required electives:
6th Grade: Year-long Physical Education
8th Grade: Semester of Health
To register for your additional electives, please review the instructions posted on our website with your student. Online course selection will be open from February 1st- February 28th.
If you need assistance with PowerSchool access, or the school listed is not MVMS, or you have any other questions, or need further help, please contact your student’s current school’s registrar (or front office).
