Three students from the MVMS Sanitation Club pose for a photo as they prepare to empty a trash can

Students at Mountain View Middle School understand the value of teamwork. Their new Sanitation Club is the perfect example. When the district was short staffed and in need of custodial assistance, students saw the issue and found a way to help … by creating a new club with Mr. Gray from 6th grade ELA as their sponsor. The Sanitation Club was formed all because students wanted to pitch in and do their part. Every Tuesday and Thursday, students from the club work for 45 minutes to assist with emptying trash, cleaning windows and cleaning trashcans. The assistance has been invaluable to the district and we appreciate the students helping and joining our team to keep our schools clean and beautiful.

Great job Mountain View Middle School students for thinking outside the box, understanding the value of teamwork and for assisting our staff!
